If a user misses a payment, we’ve got steps in place to help them get back on track.
We start sending payment reminders 3 days before the due date via various channels. If the scheduled auto-deduction fails on the due date, the user’s Atome account will be temporarily frozen the following day.
To reactivate the account, the user will need to settle any outstanding payments along with a late payment fee of RM23. In some cases, an additional penalty of RM7 may apply, depending on the funding source assigned by our system for each deferred payment.
Once the full balance is cleared, the account will go through a quick review before it can be reinstated. After that, they’re free to continue using Atome as usual.
