The Atome Malaysia app supports two different QR transaction journeys depending if you are an Atome Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) or Atome Card customer.
Atome BNPL customers can swiftly make a purchase by scanning an Atome QR code. This payment method is exclusively available at participating stores or online merchants in our program.
After scanning the Atome QR code:
- Check the merchant and payment amount
- Select your preferred payment plan
- Confirm payment, and the transaction will be processed as an Atome BNPL purchase
Atome Card customers can conveniently complete their transactions by scanning a DuitNow QR code. This universal payment solution empowers our cardholders to shop at any outlet accepting DuitNow QR payments.
After scanning the DuitNow QR code:
- Check the merchant and payment amount
- Confirm payment, and the transaction will be processed as an Atome Card transaction.
Tip: Your Atome App will automatically detect which type of QR code you've scanned. You don't need to choose before scanning.
